1. You have such an expectancy and excitement coming into a country and situation that should bring me fear.

2. You travel to Lviv with a new team to the Blessing family. Which when walking into their house it felt like we were walking into a little piece of America.

3. You primer, paint ceilings, and paint walls in the Bethel Ministry house in preparation for the Jews that will be coming on their journey back to Israel. (You may have had some fun with the paint along the way…)

4. You watch your host sister, Bria, on The Voice – Ukraine, on a projector screen with surround sound. She made it to the third round.

5. You each (all 15 of us) get to write down a favorite dish and the Blessing family would make them throughout the month. (I chose Thai Chicken Pasta 🙂 )

6. You get to celebrate Mothers Day in city center Lviv with Rhonda Blessing and her 15 adopted Racers!

7. You fall asleep nightly laughing and joking around with your new team/sisters.

8. You have the opportunity to travel to Krakow, Poland to visit Auschwitz. A very humbling and sobering experience.

9. You get to fall in love with two orphan boys named Misha and Andriy for completely different reasons during our visits to the orphanage.

10. You meet a woman named Nelya, every time you see her giggles, jumps for joy and gives you a great big hug!!

11. You have a special bond with your host sisters… So much so that one of them calls you Panda and you call her Celebrity.
