I laid on my bed with the paper on my chest. The Lord’s presence was thick in the room. A song of worship to the King was playing in the background. I knew my heart was ready.
I slowly unfolded my paper, still holding it face down on my chest. One last deep breath in and out… I flipped over the paper!
As my eyes scanned the names written on the paper my heart filled with excitement! I couldn’t help but squeal and kick my legs into the air.
This list of names was more then just some writing on a paper. It was a list of the women that I get to finish my Race with. One final team!
I would like to officially announce my new team:
JOYFUL DIVAS
If you didn’t catch it from the story above I am beyond excited to be able to finish out these last months with these gorgeous sisters in Christ.
Sarah – Our fearless leader is a calm, nurturing spirit with a little extra pizzaz. Her heart for The Lord is extremely evident and her obedience to him is contagious.
Kari Anna – This girl is a bundle of joy. She brings the light of Christ into even the darkest hardest places through her sheer presence there.
Linley – With a heart in time with the Lord’s heart she is aware of what The Lord is walking people through. She shares freely the joy she carries.
Stephanie – Her heart for more of The Lord is challenging and encouraging. Always pressing into the more and deeper of what The Lord has for her.
Linsey – Her gentleness definitely balances out all the crazies on this team. Her friendship is such a blessing to me, inspiring and encouraging me to seek The Lord in the silence as well as the noise.
Tenille – I have been honored to walk the whole Race thus far with this gorgeous girl. She is walking out in so much more confidence and freedom in Christ and her identity. Just her sheer desire for the truth and being completely real inspires me daily.
Having been a team for three weeks now I can completely see why we are the Joyful Divas! Not only do we truly carry the joy of The Lord we are able to challenge each other into greatness just by living in community.
I can’t wait for all The Lord has in store for these gorgeous Divas and I!!
