Walking into the room where all the children were worshipping is a sight in itself. These children don’t just sing. They WORSHIP their Savior through song.
I just stood back in awe to see twenty kids ages 8-16 actively pursuing intimacy with their Creator.
Then a hand touched me. Without opening my eyes I could hear words being spoken over me. Prayers being whispered in Kaaran (like Burmese language).
Then one by one throughout worship multiple children came up and prayed over me.
What a humbling experience.
I glanced around the room at one point to see them praying over each other and my teammates.
We should be praying over them. But no. They prayed over me.
My heart cried out to the Lord.
Lord, These kids have seen and experienced more hardships and pain then I ever will. But they are ZEALOUS for YOU, their King. Teach my heart to have a continuous pursuit of you. Let me have a child like faith. Never holding back. Trusting without restraint.
“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” ~ Luke 18:16-17
