I stepped over the threshold and I just knew. I felt like I was walking into a dream.
Have you ever had dreams that you let fade because they don’t seem possible? Or don’t seem to fit?
Well if you know me you would be able to tell that there are three things I LOVE and have dreamed about doing.
1) Missions
2) Opening a cake/cupcake shop
3) Running a coffee shop
But if you look at all of those things separately they don’t really seem very mixable. So I let my dream fade. Especially the second dream. How do you mix making cakes with missions or ministry??
Well today the Lord showed me that with Him all things are possible.
Matthew 19:26 “But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
This became my reality as I crossed the threshold of the Bloom Cafe in Phnom Penh.
1) Missions = This ministry empowers young women who have been given a fresh start and new purpose through working at the cafe.
2) Cakes = They make GORGEOUS creations from simple (but not so very simple) cupcakes to elaborate cake creations.

3) Coffee = They are also a fully running cafe with amazing espresso drinks.
Even in this dreamlike state I walked over to a foreigner who looked like she worked there and started a conversation. The more we talked the more I felt an overwhelming joy and excitement. My eyes were filled with joy filled tears but they didn’t overflow because I was with a stranger.
As we left the cafe and walked down the street I felt like I was walking on clouds while also knowing that this is the reality that Jesus wants us to live in.
I don’t know what God has in store for me.. But today He definitely showed me that ANY of my dreams can come true.
Even the bathrooms were something made in my dreams… 🙂
