You know you’re in Thailand when…
You sweat through glands you didn’t know you had
You get knocked down by the humidity when you walk outside
You about get ran over by a moped when you cross the street
You can get half a watermelon for 30 cents
You hitch hike in a side car of a scooter to get home from
the mall
You are double the size over everyone you walk by on the
street
You walk to the 7/11 just to get air conditioning for a few
minutes
Your body temperature rises after each bite of spicy food
You go to the bars for ministry
You enjoy going to Starbucks on your day off because its
cool inside
You get burnt doing a prayer walk because you forget you
have to put sunscreen on
You enjoy taking cold showers
You see gekos running all over the walls
You sleep with the doors and windows open so you can get a
breeze at night
Even with all this craziness, I am loving Thailand and all that comes with it! Thanks for all your prayers and support for ministry this month. I have truly felt the power of your prayers!
