Four and a half years later, my time in Murfreesboro has come to an end. I had no idea what adventures lay in my path when we drove on campus that August afternoon. My dreams were big and my arms wide open, but I could not fathom what God had planned for my life. When His word says, “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you and not to harm you,” it is a promise.

The Lord has watched over me over the course of my college career. I have grown more spiritually than I

thought imaginable, found friends that will never leave my side, and made memories that will last a lifetime. From road trips to the Grand Canyon to late night signs games, there was never a dull moment in college. I am so thankful for the people the Lord brought into my life to hold me accountable, challenge me, and make me laugh. I came to Murfreesboro to get a college degree (which I finally got!!), but I left away with much more.

Little did I know that small town girl would leave college ready to conquer the world. I have no idea what the next year holds, but I know my life is in Christ’s hands. Things may be a mystery for me, but God has the perfect plan. He has prepared me for this opportunity for years, and I pray I can be a vessel for Him around the world. Just like that day four and a half years ago, I’m stepping out in faith yet again!
