It’s finally here!!! Tomorrow (or rather later today), I leave for our training camp in Copperhill, Tennessee! I have so many emotions and thoughts running through me right now! It’s 1 am and I leave for the airport in a little over 5 hours. Hopefully that means I’ll sleep some on the plane! I’m so excited for this week; and nervous a little, but mostly excited! I have had the opportunity to begin to get to know some of the really amazing people that are on my squad for this journey, and I’m beyond excited to finally get to meet them. I already feel connected, encouraged, challenged, and more by these awesome people! I’ll be pretty much out of touch (technology wise) for the week, but feel free to leave me messages and I’ll love reading them after the week is up. Most of all, I ask you for your prayers! This will be an intense week from what I hear, but wonderfully intense!
I know I’m way overdue a real update. Life has been slightly busy between work and preparing for this camp. I will look forward to sharing where I am after this week. I’m sure I will have a lot to share!!! I’ll try to post pictures as well.
Lastly, THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me so far! Y’all are amazing and God is so faithfully providing! You can see my status bar at the top of my blog that says I’m now 34% funded!!! I’m just over $1600 away from meeting my next deadline in December. I’m so honored and excited that so many people want to be a part of this journey! I can’t wait to share more with you; but now, I must sleep!
