Hello! Well, so much has happened since I last posted and it's a very crazy time of preparation for me right now. I took some time today to briefly stop and wrap my head around how the Lord has provided in the past month and my prayers for what is ahead of me in the coming month. The best way I can sum up my thought process for you is this . . .
Major Praises from October:
- The Lord continued to provide opportunities for me to share my calling with others, which resulted in additional prayer & financial supporters for my trip.
- I SURVIVED training camp! (I do not say this lightly. For a better idea of what I mean by this, check out my other blog "Training Camp Experience: Link to Leah's Blog.")
- My conversation with my employer about my plans went even better than expected and I was met with a great deal of support. (Thanks for all of the extra prayers on this one!)
Prayers for November:
- I pray that the Lord will continue to provide opportunities for me to share about my trip with others and that the Lord will be gloried through all of these conversations.
- I pray for the success of my upcoming fundraiser on November 15th at El Rodeo in North Durham. (If you are local, check out the event on facebook or contactme for more information if you'd like to attend!)
- I pray for good health as I continue to work, prepare, and spend as much quality time with family and friends as possible before leaving!
