After nine months of planning and anticipation and doubts and curiosity and fear and excitement, I’m finally here. We made it safe and sound to Quito, Ecuador and we will be here until Sunday. The forecast for tomorrow is high of 77 and low of 59, with a 50% chance of rain…amazing…and it's pretty much the same for the rest of the week. Then we will break up into our smaller teams and head to our specific ministry sites… my team is heading to El Reten, which is nowhere to be found on a map, but I’m told a nearby city is Santo Domingos de los Colorados. Google it. Just wanted to let everyone know that I made it, along with my 48 pound pack and although I am extremely exhausted from a long day of traveling, I feel invigorated and ready to go. Thanks for all your prayers and support.
