This week my team has just been working at the orphanage, playing with the kids. It is Khmer New Year and so the kids have not been in school and we have had all day to play with them. This has been great fun, on Wednesday we had a water fight (traditional New Year celebration), and the rest of the week has been spent learning more and more about the kids. In the evening there is English class. This has been a time when we try to get the kids to speak in English more and teach them new English words.
The last English class we taught we did a Bible lesson. We thought it would be good to teach them about the prodigal son and the Father’s love. This was a great lesson as Carl drew pictures and explained the story in such a way that even we learned something new. Carl explained that even though we are not always the son who runs from the Father, we may be the son that is mad at the other for getting so much, but we still get our inheritance.
Now as the kids return to school this week, we will again be in English classes all day and at night. Although this is great because we will see more kids, this is sad because there will not be as much one on one time with all the kids we have learn to love this past week.

As a reminder I am still in need of support. I still need just under $5,000 to be fully support and I am looking to be supported before I go to Africa at the end of May. Please pray on how you can support me. Also pray for others to support me as well.
