Right now I am sitting at a kitchen table with my team mates
enjoying music in an aboriginal community. This community had a Luthern
missionary visit them about 50 years ago. Now they have a church, but almost
never have service or Bible study, because the Pastor only comes every so
often. No one in this community is able to lead a study. So my heart is broken
for these people.
I am praying that someone is able to rise up. The reason
that no one in this community has risen up is because no one has equipped them.
Pray that someone is able to equip a person who is able to lead this place to a
stronger faith, a faith that doesn’t need a missionary to come – especially since
this place can be cut off from the world during the wet season.
