So I have now arrived in New Zealand. The long awaited
mission trip has finally started. It only took waking up at 7 AM on January 3
getting to the airport at 1:30 PM and waiting till our contact got to the
airport at 5 PM. Once we checked in at 6 PM for our 7:30 flight we had to race
for the plane and get ready for a 12 hour flight. Once we landed in New Zealand
at 4 AM January 5 we found our way through customs (now I have my first stamp
in my passport) once through the airport we found our bus to take us for a 2 ½ hour
bus ride to get to Metameta.

For our first week we are starting at YWAM center.
For those that don’t know YWAM this place is for mostly youths, but this place
also focuses on families. They teach people about ministry, and how to live a
Godly life. This week is all about reconnecting. We learn how to live the life
of missionaries. Since this week is about reconnecting we are also taking a
fast from screens; this will give us the chance to really connect with our teammates.
For those that don’t know YWAM this place is for mostly youths, but this place
