The last time we went to the prison we came with a visitor. We had no idea what to do or how she would be received, but we figured that it would be a good chance to have someone help us minister to these women.
At first Liz was greeted very warmly and all the ladies wanted to sit next to her. Once we got into worship Liz lead the crazy dance moves and the ladies thought she was the funnest thing ever. I lead the Bible study on hope and the ladies seemed to understand some of what I was saying.
Once we got into our small group I had Liz join me because I felt my group needed some help opening up. Liz did help and all the ladies wanted to ask her question and find out more about her.
When she shared her testimony about how a knee injury changed her life, it sparked a change in one of the women in the group. She said that she too had a knee injury. We asked how long it has hurt and she said “

5 years no health“. We asked a few more questions and found out that she had been hurt in a car accident about 5 years ago and had no health care for it. This is when Liz decided to pray over the women.
“healed”.   I had no idea what everyone was talking about since the rest of my group wanted me to pray over them.

Once we left the prison I was given a more complete telling of how she came to realize she was healed.
Liz said that she told the women to tell us if she was healed, but once the group started praying in pairs she went to leave and stood up and started jumping. This women had gone from not being able to bend her leg with a brace to being able to jump up and down.
It is an

amazing story to see God do miracles in front of my eyes.
