This week has been a real good chance for us to share God’s
love with others. Frist we had to go to Cambodia on Saturday to renew our visas
and while we were there we met a monk. It turns out that he lives near our
ministry site and so has decided to come to our English classes. The first
night he showed up we prayed that we would be able to mention Jesus (as this is
not a place where we can share much about God). We asked another person, “Do
you know what cheese is? The pastor translated for us and so told us what the
person said, “yes, he knows who Jesus; a person gave him a tract once. So
Christ was mentioned, which has opened the door for more conversations with the
monk.
The second chance we’ve had to share was Wednesday when we
went to Ood’s house to hear about the amazingness of mangosteens and to meet
his family. While we were there we asked his sister about her faith. She said when she was young she prayed
to Jesus, but now she is older she doesn’t need to because Mary knows her and
she knows Mary. We told her that if she knew all about Jesus like Mary then He
wouldn’t be God.
We prayed for understanding (her English is not the best)
and an open heart to hear our words.
No hearts have been changed as of yet, but we planted the
seed God has called us to plant.
This is just some fun we had here – enjoy
