So this week the ministry that my team is working with does a 4 hour prayer time every Monday through Friday. This time is spent listening to music, and people can do whatever they feel like doing during this time. During one of the mornings the first song that was sung was about dancing with Jesus. This struck something inside of me and I started to journal about dancing. This is what I wrote: Dancing with me, such a simple thing to ask for, but it means so much. It means connection, one thought, love and understanding. When two people dance they have to be connected with their eyes, hand and hearts. They have to have the same thought about the music. They have to care/love each other. They both have to understand how the other person moves and the music. Such a simple thing to dance, but so personal and meaningful. Such a sign of love.
I pray that you all find time to dance with Jesus today. I pray that you may understand what it means to dance with Jesus. That it is not just a nice thought, but it is meaningful. What does dancing with Jesus mean to you?
