My team and I organized a women’s retreat on one of the last nights in Kosovo to honor the hardworking women in the church. These women dedicate their entire lives to the oversight of countless ministries. We also used this as a chance to reach out to some of the young women we had met in the community throughout the month. It was an amazing opportunity to share our testimonies and connect these women with members of the church for further discipleship.
Our team decided to organize a few activities through Beauty for Ashes that would allow them to be intimate with God, uplift one another, and pamper themselves (I mean, who doesn’t like a good massage?).

God really moved in the room that night. We had women sharing intimate details, supporting one another in their past pain, and understanding that their worth comes from God, not the world.
I really want to give my teammate Averi a shoutout for listening to the Holy Spirit and being vulnerable by sharing her testimony. She showed the healing that can happen when we trust God and share our stories with other women. THANKS AVERI!!!
