Holy cow! Where have the past 2 months gone? Time is certainly flying by here. This past month, my team as well as Team P31 worked with Pop Up Ministries in Pretoria, South Africa. My team was split between many different areas at Pop Up this month. I had the opportunity to serve in the Daycare as well as work on a mapping project with the University of Pretoria. Most of all though, this month was full of rest and growth in my relationship with the Lord. Here are some highlights from my second month on the race:

· I have heard God’s voice in amazing ways this month. He speaks to me daily. I’ve loved spending intimate time with him and have fallen more in love with him. He has shown me how he is both my Dad and my Husband.
· We were able to do some street ministry this month and learned so much from 3 amazing people from Impact Africa.
· I’ve discovered the importance of love languages and personality types.
· God continued to teach me patience through my kids at Pop Kids. They listened to me maybe 5% of the time.
· I obeyed God in a huge way this month. It was beyond hard but he knows what he best for me. He told me I have to be all in on this race. No other option is ok for me.

· My team loved me so much this month through the hard times. They were there to pray for me, hug me, speak words of life into me, listen, and spoil me with chocolate. God used my team to pour into me in huge ways this month.
· We went to the hospital twice this month to pray for the sick children. God used a little boy to remind me of my cousin there. Everything about those two nights broke my heart. My eyes were also opened to the spiritual aspect to sickness.
· I’ve enjoyed lots of shopping, coffee, and good food.
· Many Disney movie marathons and dance parties have occurred.
· I’ve developed amazing friendships with the women of P31. I’m so grateful for the way they have poured into me and challenged me to be a better Kristi Bezy.
· We had an incredible African Braai (BBQ) at Russell’s house. Russell and his wife poured so much into us this month.

This month was so good and hard all at the same time. Yet again, God knew exactly what my team and I needed. Tomorrow, my team will head to Nelspruit, South Africa to meet up with the rest of our squad for debrief. It will be a time for us to relax, have fun, be poured into, talk about our past month, and prepare for next month. Please be praying for our squad as we travel as well as during debrief. My team will then head to Swaziland for month 3! More details about what we will be doing in Swaziland will come soon. Thanks for following along and for all your prayers.
Heart and Soul,
Kristi
