One of the most exciting parts of Training Camp was finding out who our teams would be! Let me explain what that means to anyone who doesn’t know all the ins and outs of the World Race. Everyone who is going on my route (September Route 1) is considered my squad (61 of us). Our squad will travel from country to country together and then break out into our teams of 7-9 people to work with specific ministries. Some months multiple teams may work together at one ministry site, other months it will just be our team. These are the people I will be serving closely with, doing feedback with, and living with! God could not have placed me in a better team.  We are diverse yet unified through our love for each other and Jesus. I know they are going to pour into me so much this year.

Let me introduce you to Team RedeemIng D.U.S.T.

L-R Ben Fulton, Lynette Alegria, Anna Primrose, Me, Ashley Brandt, Raychel Manko, Jamal Robinson

Ben– Ben is laid back and easy going. His personality makes it easy to be you and relax. He encourages those around him and easily makes others laugh.

Lynette– Lynette and I clicked from the day we met. She has a way of listening to your heart and speaking life into your situation. She overflows with joy and Jesus truly shines through her.

Anna– Anna cares so deeply for others. She is always reaching out to see how she can better serve those around her. She also has a huge heart for Africa.

Ashley-Ashley loves those around her. She has a gentle spirit but is bold when she needs to be (Indian market place?! =]). She is passionate and loves to learn. I can’t wait to watch her grow over this next year.

Raychel– Raychel is a breath of fresh air. No matter what is thrown at her, Raychel views it as an opportunity to shine for the Lord. She is uplifting and so organized. I know I can turn to her when I’m struggling and she will lift my spirits.

Jamal– Jamal is such a relational person. He has an awareness of other’s feelings and is able to encourage those around him. He is so humble. Jamal is an experienced world traveler.

I can’t wait to see what God does through our team. I know he has big plans for us.

To my amazing team: I’m so honored to be the leader of our team. I can’t promise I’ll be perfect but I promise to lean on you all and the Lord to do my best. Thank you for believing in me already and know I see amazing things in you. It’s going to be an amazing ride.

To my supporters: Please be praying for our team and squad. Pray for all those who continue to need funds by August 18th to launch with us in September. Pray RedeemIng D.U.S.T. would be unified and grow together. Pray that I would depend on God and not on my own strength to lead our team. Please prayfully consider financially supporting some of my teammates or squad mates who continue to need funds. Email me and I can give you information regarding those donations!

Heart and Soul,
Kristi
