We left India 9 days ago and it already feels like it was ages ago. So much happens here on the Race in a short amount of time. I did want to give you all a recap on India though so here you go.
-As I said in my previous blogs, India was definitely bittersweet for me. I fell in love with it by the end but it had its moments.

-My team worked and lived with Team Tilatha Cumi. These girls are amazing. God definitely had us work together for a reason. The way they came alongside me and built me up this month was amazing.

-Our neighbor was an idol maker. He loved to come out and stare while we worship in the mornings on the roof.

-We got to be India princesses this month and dress in beautiful saris.

-India driving is nuts! On one trip from the Caramel bakery, our auto drove down the highway on the wrong side of the road. No worries, we arrived home safe and sound.

-We got to celebrate Lynette’s birthday by having a dance party with 100 orphans.

-Lice checks were a part of our daily routine.

-I spent two separate days in Hyderabad. I spoiled myself with Hard Rock Café and Chili’s. Yum!

-Our main ministry was working with Sarah’s Covenant Homes. We spent time with the kids, took pictures for Valentine’s Day, took kids to the beach and to a Dam, and did administrative tasks.

-We were also able to do outreach in two local villages. The first night we prayed for a woman who was demon possessed and were able to see her be freed from the demon! It was incredible.

-We went to the beach 3 times; twice with the kids and one time with some of I Squad.

-We took a 24-hour train ride to Agra from Hyderabad. This train was luxury compared to trains in China. We were beyond grateful for sleeper tickets.

-At the end of the month, we went to the Taj Mahal on our way to Delhi!
India was a great month. We passed the halfway point of the race. This month, we are working in Dragonesti, Romania. My team is traveling to different missionary families throughout the month. We get the opportunity to develop relationships with the missionaries and pour back into them. Please continue to pray for our team. Pray for patience and rest as we will be packing and moving several times this month!
Heart and Soul,
Kristi
