Hi all!
Thanks so much for checking out my blog and for your support so far on this journey. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am currently 24 (will be 25 when I launch) and a speech therapist at an elementary school in Concord, NC. I love my job and have a found a passion for working with kids with hearing impairments. My kids definitely make my job worthwhile. They know just how to make me smile when I need it. I am a member of Elevation Church in Charlotte. God has blessed me with an amazing church, incredible church family, and a supportive group of girls who love me for who I am. I am a leader of the VIP eTeam at Elevation. I love watching my team grow and honoring our guests. I've grown so much in my relationship with Christ since joining Elevation. I grew up in Southern Indiana and attended Ball State University for my Bachelors and Masters Degrees. I was also a member of Sigma Kappa in college. I moved to the Charlotte area in August of 2010 for my current job and can confidently say it was the best decision I've ever made. I'm the proud Aunt of 2 nephews and 2 nieces. My brother and sister have given me 4 of the best gifts I could ever ask for.
Random Facts about me:
1. I'm from a HUGE family..my Dad is one of 12 kids and my Mom is one of 6 but I love it!
2. My grandpa and grandma Bezy were two of the most amazing people I've ever known. They showed me what true love really is. They were still head over heels for each other 12 kids and 60 years after they got married.
3. I currently have 2 tattoos and want more,
4. I have a love/hate relationship with running.
5. My parents are my biggest support system. Although, they hate the idea of not seeing me for a year, they have been nothing but supportive.
6. I have a partial labral tear in my hip that will eventually have to be surgically repaired.
