Welcome to Christmas in Swaziland.

Where care points throw Christmas parties in November.

Where Christmas dinner consists of Rice, Beef, Cole Slaw, and Beets.
Where fingers work just as well as forks and pencil boxes work just as well as bowls.

Where games consist of water buckets, dragons, lava, and parachutes.
Where each child’s gift is a Cabbage and a little bag of candy.

Where the children sing songs of praise to Jesus before each meal.
Where dinner is cooked over a fire and the dishes are washed in a bucket.

Where instead of chicken being the food, it eats your food.
Where we sing a song pretending to be a banana instead of Christmas Carols.

Where you can fall in love with a little boy in a matter of 2 minutes.

Where African women work so hard to make each child feel special if only for an afternoon.

Merry Early Christmas From Swaziland!
Quick Update: We had such a fun Thanksgiving with some American Friends! Friday we head to Joberg to catch our flight to Hong Kong! Please be praying for Ashley and Jamal's funds as well as safe travel to China! We probably won't have internet in China so no news is good news!
