Last month and this month, my team has been working alongside local churches doing the day in and day out of running a church. It often times hasn’t looked like I’m doing any ministry at all. I also tend to take and post pictures of our fun days off but not many pictures of ministry. Lots of people have asked me the question “what is your ministry exactly?” or “are you doing any ministry?” So for those who have been wondering here is what I’ve been doing for ministry in Eastern Europe:
-window washing
-washing the van
-babysitting
-cooking dinner
-praying
-running a ladies event
-sharing testimonies
-cleaning the house
-cleaning out a shed
-handing out tracks and invites to events
-sorting donated clothes
-picking up trash around town
-put on 1st youth group in Comani
-attending church bible study
-helping with teenage discipleship program
-grocery shopping
-stuff CD’s for distribution
-yard work
-house visits
-handed out new testaments
-street evangelism
-logistical work
-sing songs in church
-teaching English
Ministry in Europe has looked a lot like doing daily life alongside missionaries. I love getting to bless these people in small ways. Our contacts are keeping us busy, it just doesn’t always look like ministry. So yes, we are doing ministry…lots!
