My name is Kristen, but also known as Kricket to many, and I was born and raised in a small town outside of Wichita, KS. I have five siblings (one being my twin sister) and I am beyond blessed to be part of such a wonderful family.
I have spent the last three years working (or we can just call it playing) at Gracepoint Church as the Children’s Pastor. I’m quite obsessed with the kid’s ministry and do my best in building His Kingdom there. I am forever grateful for this church family.
Two years ago I started Grad School at Tabor College in Ministry Entrepreneurship and Innovation as I wanted to be a better leader for my ministry team. Never would I had imagined the things I would learn and be challenged with during this time.
I first traveled to Costa Rica in 2012 after a hard time in my life with some friends from my church (gracepointchurch.tv). A couple years later I traveled to Kenya and Turkey to serve the Lord in new ways. I fell in love with the people and the adventures God had in mind for me.
Family and friends, near and far, have shown me what it means to love well and they continually challenge me to be the woman that God has made me to be. Some of my other favorite things: cake pops, hand lettering, photography, good red wine, acoustic guitar, Christmas music, and Jesus.
I’m eternally grateful for this opportunity and I pray that you’ll join me on this adventure.
Much love.
I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
(Isaiah 41:9,10a NIV, emphasis mine)
