Hello 2020! You have finally arrived! Launch is so close I can practically taste it… I cannot begin to describe how excited I am too meet up with my wonderful squad and officially be on the road fulfilling the call God has place on my heart. In a few words 2019 was long, difficult, and sometimes a real struggle. However, now standing in 2020 I see how I have grown in my spiritual walk. I am no where near close to the relationship I long to have with the Lord but I can now see that 2019 was a season of stretching my wings out in faith and it was chock full of lessons. God tells us that he takes care of the birds and the flowers (Matthew 6:26, 28) but we also must press on toward the goal (Philippians 3:14) and not stand idle. An example on this is my fundraising. I’m not the best with money, while I am by no means poor.. I’m definitely not rich and do not have $19,200. God is great and he has moved in incredible ways providing for me. He has moved people’s hearts to give toward my goal, he gave me 2 jobs and has provided me with all of the gear I will need. This is the biggest lesson I have learned this year and I know it was just the basics. 2020 will be the advance course. I am no where near ready to accomplish what God has in store this year… but that’s the beauty of it because He is! I have the best teacher I could have and strong community praying for me. Let the journey begin.
