I am beginning to learn about what taking a Kingdom journey looks like. It requires faith, humility, dependence and sacrifice. In the book “Kingdom Journey” by Seth Barnes I am beginning to understand what it means to abandon your world and align your life with God’s plan. I am reading about other’s journeys who have gone on the Race before me. First hand accounts on experiences that I might face. As I read this book and compare it to scripture, I see that my journey doesn’t start with getting on the plane to go to a new country… it starts now. The day I was accepted to go on the Race was the beginning of my Kingdom journey. The coffee in this picture is called the leap of faith. I chose to post this drink as a symbol for what I am doing. Leaping out in faith not knowing where God is taking me. We are to walk by faith not by sight.
I will be posting about this book and others as I travel this coming year. I’m calling it my coffee blog. Because one of the greatest combinations in this world is reading and coffee 🙂
