Hello everyone! I am still alive and thriving here in Nicaragua. So my team (TNT) and I are in a little town doing construction work… yay! We are helping to expand a church and build a school under it. It’s gonna be so amazing when it is finished! We are doing other stuff other than swinging a pickaxe but that will come later on in the month. I have had so many experiences that have rocked my world (construction pun lol). I wake up to a mountain view and go to bed looking at beautiful sunsets… I have bonded with my team, made friends and have had busy days. The hot sun and blisters on my hands have been an a constant and I got stung by a wasp thing. We have to walk to town to get wifi which is a pretty good trek… the food is amazing and I am slowly learning Spanish. I roade in the bed of a truck to get groceries which was super cool!!
But the best part… serving Jesus in an unexpected way. Learning about team work and prayer. There has been a lot of prayer this month and it has been a growing a stretching month for sure. I wouldn’t trade it for anything!!
