The race is an opportunity that God has placed in front of me. Everyday is a new learning experience and I believe I will learn a lot on this journey. I am not expecting something to happen on the race, it is more of a hope. I hope that on the race I will learn more about the world around me and the people that I am on this journey with. But I know I am always in need of spiritual growth as well. I hope that I am going to learn more about myself and my place in the kingdom of God. I am sure God has lots of things for me to unearth about myself that I have not thought of. I pray I am open to the instruction that God has planned and for me to be humble and teachable in these circumstances.
