Fundraising is not great. It is not something that I love to do. Therefore, I worked hard to avoid it.
Since getting home from the Race in December, I have been working in my field as a band director at Warsaw Community High School in Warsaw, IN. It was a job that God blessed me with, and it was perfect timing. Through that job, I was able to save up enough funds to pay for my Squad Leading experience. It was my prayer on the Race that I would be able to work diligently to support myself if I went to the field again, and God lined everything up so that I could.
But… there are always added costs.
