Hey y’all! I just want to say how wonderful it is to have so much love and support in fundraising for the World Race. I am 17% funded and although that may be a small chunk of 100%, I still think that is amazing and can’t believe that I am even that far along! God has definitely shown me how loved I am by my people and by Him! This was the one part of the race that I was extremely nervous about, but I am learning to put down my pride and just let God move. This is the first time I have ever fundraised money, let alone for this amount, but I trust the God has his hand over all and will provide the funds. He has also been showing me how to enjoy this time and the beauty that comes in the preparation process. My squad and I have been talking over GroupMe and although I have not meet them in person, I have been so blessed that these are the people that I get to share a huge part of my life with. So shoutout to WR Oct. 2019 Route 1 for being so supportive!
Below I have briefly listed the fundraisers that I am still doing and if you would still like to join me and participate please let me know! I just wanted to update everyone who has supported me through donations and prayers because I wouldn’t be anywhere without the community God has surrounded me with!
- Adopt-A-Box is the first fundraiser I started at the end of 2018. There are 100 boxes, each with a number and that number represents that amount of money. For example, if you were to pick number 28 then you would donate $28. When all boxes are filled, it will be a total of $5,000! If the board fills up, I’m going to be randomly choosing 3 people who will receive a small gift from my travels, from the country of their choosing!
- T-shirts that I customized through Fund the Nations is the second fundraiser that I started. I have grey and yellow and sizes run from XS- 2XL. They are comfort colors and have a pocket tee. The front pocket has a cross on it and the back has the world map and across the continents it says, “Until all have heard” (thank you Taylor for that idea)! I am selling them for $25 each and will be selling them for a few more weeks, through the end of the month! if you or anyone you may know, friends, family members, etc. would like one please let me know!
