My amazing supporters, friends, and family-

Back in November I reached out to you all about how tight finances had been for me due to an inability to save before the race. You all responded with such generosity and love and I was blown away! I have been able to provide for myself so well since November, have donated to others working for the Kingdom, and have even been able to go on a few adventures with my squad (Angkor Wat, Rainbow Mountain, and Machu Picchu)! My money should easily hold me for the rest of my race and I have all of you to thank for that!

That being said, as I’m right near the end of my race (only about a month and a half to go!!) and thinking about going home I’m overwhelmed with the instability of my financial situation. Upon arriving back to the states I’ll have to purchase a flight home from Miami (as far as the World Race will pay for). That flight within itself will likely polish off what is left in my bank account. I also am supposed to attend the wedding of a close friend in July in Chicago. Looking ahead after that I am hoping to find a job quickly and move back to the city, but before I start getting paychecks I’ll need to continue providing for myself as well as begin payment on my student loans and honestly I’m not sure how it will happen.

It is extremely hard for me to write this knowing that you all have given so generously to me before. It is also difficult because these are normal life expenses that EVERYONE deals with and although I’ve been a missionary for the past year, it still feels hard to justify. But after everything I’ve learned in these past two years of fundraising and life on the field, I know that it is best to ask with faith and expectation for the ways that The Lord wants to work in this last season of my World Race journey. He has reminded me that it is okay to ask for help and that one day (hopefully soon) I’ll be in a position to do the same for someone else.

So, once and for all I am humbly asking if you would consider supporting me in order to set me up for success in my first few months back in America. Your constant support has truly shown me the face of the Lord over the course of this journey and I couldn’t thank you enough! If you feel lead to donate to me there are three ways to do it:

  • Use the app “Venmo” and send it to the username: @Kristen-Coughlin (This app is secure and it is okay to link straight to your bank!)
  • Use the app “Cash App” and send it to the username: $KristenCoughlin (Same as Venmo)
  • Send a check to my father’s home address who will deposit it into the bank for me (Email/message me directly for his address)

Again, thank you SO MUCH for your willingness to continue to support me on this journey that the Lord has taken me on. I have learned so much from each of you and can’t wait to pay it forward to someone else when I’m settled into a job and life back in the states.

Many blessings,
Kristen
