Hello! If you are clicking on this page, then you are probably looking to learn a little bit more about me! For starters, my name is Kristen although my close friends and family tend to call me Krissy. I am 22 years old and I am a recent graduate of North Park University in Chicago, IL. I graduated this past May with a dual degree in Secondary Education and Creative Writing. Before moving to Chicago to pursue education I lived in rural western Massachusetts with my family, so I am an east coaster at heart forever and always.
I really love to play ultimate frisbee (which is not the same as frisbee golf 
). I have been playing for four years now and I love it so much. Music has always been a huge part of my life and I enjoy singing and playing my guitar, although the guitar skills are still in progress. It goes without saying that as a former English major, I LOVE to read and write, so you can expect plenty of updates on the blog over the course of my journey. Coffee tends to be my love language and you would be hard-pressed to find a day in the calendar year where I didn’t have at least one cup. If you don’t have access to coffee and you’re wondering how to cheer me up, just find a cute animal of any variety… although I love puppies first and foremost.

As I prepare for the World Race, I am excited to see where the Lord is leading me. It has been a privilege to hear His calling so clearly and although I am nervous, I am ready. The Lord said to come with Him, so watch out. There is no stopping me now!
