From the beginning to now you have supported me and I’m so very thankful. This journey has been so humbling. I couldn’t have done this without you. No donation has gone unnoticed! Whether you donated monthly or just once it has made a huge impact on me and the people here in Asia.
I have reached all my deadlines except one. My last deadline is March 1st! (9 days!) I am still in need of $1,600 to be completely funded. If you would like to help me reach this last deadline any contribution would help. God has provided over $14,000 through you so I know He can provide the rest.
In India your donation allowed me to do house visits and pray for families who lived in the slums, visit orphanages, visit a school for the blind, hangout and pray for women who were sold to the temples for prostitution, visit a HIV aids center and help with work they needed done and much more!
In Nepal I got to visit the slums multiple times to play with the children, construction work, building school rooms and visited girls who are forced into the bars.
In Thailand I worked at Blessing Home which is a daycare/school for children who can’t afford to go to school. If these children were not in Blessing Home they would be working on the streets and maybe forced to work in the Red light district later down the road.
In Laos I worked in a preschool in the morning and taught English to older students at night. The age group for my preschool class was 1 yr olds which was so much fun! I work with 1 yr olds back home so I was prepared 🙂 Then we headed to Thailand again where we worked with a church and helped them get ready for a Christmas program for the city! This month was special for me because the family I was with have a daughter and me and her hung out all the time. She is like a little sister to me 🙂
In Cambodia I got live with and teach English to university students. Also led Bible studies and led Sunday morning services!
In Vietnam I have not only been teaching English again to all ages but I have made a friend who works in the restaurant below where we live 🙂 I know the Lord has brought us in each others lives for a reason. Everyday when I see her I stop and talk to her and we have become friends 🙂 Also have visited an orphanage for mentally disabled children!
These last 6 months have been so amazing a fun and Im excited for the next 5!!!
