I have reached my financial goal of $16,000 to cover the cost of this mission trip, my vaccinations, flights in and out and travel insurance!
THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH! I can't thank you enough. I am so greatful for this journey that will soon be coming to a close. 43 days left and I so look forward to what the Lord has instore.
Looking back over the past 10 months I have been so blessed in the ways that the Lord has shown up and has taken this time to help me grow more dependant on Him. He has shown me His great love for me and has taught me to be more bold in my faith. I also picked up some spanish along the way 🙂
Here are some fun random facts:
Longest time without a shower- 5 days (this happens pretty regularly)
Month I showered least- South Africa- total of 9 times
Times I have accidently gone to the bathroom on my own leg- 8
Different places I have slept in- 28 (trains and airports included)
Times I have craved and drank Coca Cola (before this it had been 12 years)- 14
# of clothing items I have purchased in 10 months- 8 (50% were due to the freezing climate of Eastern Europe)
Weirdest Things I have Eaten- Balut in the Philippines, Chicken feet in S. Africa and Fish Eyes in Mozambique (all by choice)
People I have seen come to Christ- Hundreds
