All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you. For kingship belongs to the Lord, and all he rules over the nations. All the porperous of the earth eat and worship; before him shall bow all who go down to the dust, even the one who could not keep himself alive. Posterity shall serve him; it shall be told of the Lord to the coming generation; they shall come and proclaim his righteousness to a people yet unborn, that he has done it.
Psalm 22:27-31.

All the families of the nations shall worship before you . . . the prosperous of the earth eat and worship . . . they shall proclaim righteousness to the people yet unborn that he has done it.

This is the kingdom. I am witnessing these verses come alive before my eyes. It is exciting to be a part of. Now that God has opened my eyes to what it means to bring the kingdom of God here on earth, like Christ proclaimed it was, even walking through the day to day, the same ole same ole, is exciting because it is a new opportunity to share Christ and bring the kingdom.

In Nicaragua I saw the kingdom come down:
Sunday morning in church at El Puente in the testimony of an alcoholic that has been redeemed and restored through a Christ centered rehabilitation program.

In the sweet time spent praying with and encouraging the Kayes in their ministry. In our conversations and the way we relate to one another as family. In the ability to support their ministry even if for only a short time or from a long distance. . . . even if only through the prayer of the Holy Spirit. God is there.

In conversations had with two young guys who work at El Puente who are just learning what it means to walk with Jesus and still have many quesitons about what it means to righteous and holy. I saw the kingdom in their smiles as they recognized something different in Julie and myself and I was able to share with them, the truth of how God sees them.

In the face of a young woman who was standing close by when Julie and I bought food for a homeless crippled man and told him that we did not only want to provide food for his body but food for his soul. We began to share with him how Christ loves him, cares for him, desires a relationship with him. He spoke many words of gratitude. She saw from a distance, and smiled. I pray God was seen and glorified and we were invisible in that moment.

In the faces of my sisters Nica when we arrived at their house for the first time and Nohemi wanted to show me how she had learned to read using the spanish Beginners Bible I had bought for them. The kingdom was evident in their smiles as we read Bible stories together.

In the way Connie and I embraced one another last night in prayer over her house, our stay, her and her son, their protection, their provision, thanking God for all the blessings he bestows on us and asking him to use our hands and feet for his service in Bethel.

The kingdom has come to Bethel. God is here. Christ is here. I am excited to join him in what he is doing. I pray Julie and I can continue to be part of the awakening to his word and work for the people of Bethel! This is my family, together, we worship, we eat, we prosper in love, joy, peace of heart and mind, patience for one another, we teach the younger generation all that God has done and is doing. This is our legacy to carry on to them. This is the kingdom.

AMEN!
