The last three days 107 young people have met together
betwixt the rolling hills of New
Zealand to hear a word from the Lord for our
generation. God is still speaking. He has something to say, but he needs people
willing to listen and willing to act. We concentrated on focusing our
hearts to center on the Holy Spirit and tune our ears to hear what God had to
say. Redemption. Freedom. Prophesy. Boldness. Vision. Restoration. The
Revelation is this: The Kingdom of Heaven is NOW! We have been asleep. We have
been waiting for Jesus to “come back” and “beam us up” so that we can be with
him. . . .
Newsflash:
JESUS IS HERE NOW!
HIS KINGDOM IS NEAR. HE IS STILL SPEAKING THE SAME AS HE DID WHEN HE WALKED
THIS EARTH CONSTRAINED BY HUMAN FEET! AND WE HAVE A WORD TO COMMUNICATE FROM HIM TO THE WORLD AROUND US.
So now that we have had a chance to be hearers of the Word,
tomorrow my team leaves to start being doers of the Word. Tomorrow we leave for
our ministry site. I am not exactly sure where this will be. My team has the
unique opportunity to participate in a ministry never before explored by AIM.
We will be dropped off at the mouth of a popular trail in the New Zealand
bush and from there we will set out on a “tramping” excursion, as the Kiwis
call it- a 14 day hike through the wilderness. Our goal for ministry: Listen to
the voice of the Lord. Pray for divine meetings along the trail. Build
relationships with the backpacking community and talk to them about The
Kingdom. Tell them about all the things Jesus has for them and speak LIFE and
DESTINY into them, then trust the Holy Spirit to make the gospel come alive in
their hearts.
As a result of this, I will have no internet access for the
next 2.5 weeks. Please pray for our team. Pray for intentionality with
conversation. Pray for boldness. Pray for safety.
