I am sitting on board Delta 1271 en route to Columbus Ohio, but I absolutely could not wait any longer to share. Sunday night I met with my girls for Bible study one last time. Julie and I had been meeting with them altogether three times a week- a girls’ Bible study group I had started last year when I lived in Bethel for the summer. This past week I had the chance to meet with each girl one on one to discuss more in depth the issues plaguing their hearts. The Lord, being gracious to me, had allowed me to reap the harvest fruits that had been sown by myself and others. After a long conversation with Massiel, she gave her heart to the Lord. So this Sunday night I had them first write down,
How do you see your life now? What does your life look like?
This is Massiel’s testimony. . . .
“Mi vida estaba antes destrosada porque no handaba en los caminos del Senor pero ahora mi vida cambio. Ahora soy una nina centrada siempre camino sonriente con mi familia. Mi vida ha cambiado mucho desde la vez que tubimos un tiempo onde la Coni. Tambien mi vida esta cambiada con los momentos que hemos estado en mi casa apendiendo mas de la Biblia porque en realidad antes no leia la Biblia hasta este momento mi vida ha cambiado mucho gracias a Dios.”
My life before was a mess because I was not walking in the ways of the Lord, but now my life changed. Now I am a child centered always walking and smiling with my family. My life has changed much since the time when we spent at Coni’s house. Also my life has changed with the moments that we have been at my house learning more about the Bible because the reality is before I did not the Bible until this moment my life has changed alot. Thanks be to God.
Then secondly I had them write,
How does your life, or how would your life look different with Christ in it?
Massiel said . . .
“Bueno, yo me siento bien porque ahora tengo a Cristo en mi corazon porque Dios siempre en los problemas en las pruebas el te ayuda y cuando andamos en el mundo sentimos vacio el corazon como sentimos que no tenemos ayuda. Pero cuando andamos en los caminos del Senor nos sentimos fortalecido con una ayuda que sentis que no te va a fallar. . .
esa es mi opnion.
Well, I feel good because now I have Christ in my heart. Because God always, in our problems and in trials, he helps you. When we walk in the ways of the world we feel empty at heart like we don’t have help. But when we walk in the ways of the Lord we feel we are strengthened with a help we can feel that will never fail us. . . .
This is my opinion.
This is Ephesians 1:17-18 coming alive before us- That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel. For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus. And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
