Hi.
I’m Kristen.
If you’re here, it’s probably because you know me(if you don’t, then it is so very nice to meet you!) and therefore you probably already know my name.
This blog is meant to keep you up to date on where I was, am and will be going over the course of the next year and a half.
BUT….
It occurred to me that if we are going to be embarking on this journey together, you may be wanting to know a little bit more about me.
After all, it’s very hard to be someone’s friend when you know very little about them.
So…I’m going to offer you 25 (somewhat useless) facts about me.
Ready?
Set?
Okay, here goes:
1. I am 24 years young.
2. My last name is Turkish (I’ve no idea how…this is just what Grandma informs me, and one does not simply question Grandma)
3. Spiderman happens to be the greatest superhero of all time and I may or may not have Spiderman bed sheets and jammies…and a phone case with him on it.
4. My bearded dragon is named Peter(after Peter, the apostle, not Peter Parker, or Peter Pan…although I consider it a win-win-win.)
5. No matter how hard I try to learn it, Football escapes me. (GOAL!!!)
6. Writing is my brain’s way of unwinding.
7. “Stacy’s Mom” by Fountains of Wayne is one of my favorite songs. Apparently, Stacy’s mom has got it going on.
8. I can speak and write Japanese(although I’m very, very rusty. High School was a few too many years ago).
9. One of my favorite pastimes is napping.
10. My favorite movie is Disney’s Tarzan.
11. I could survive on cereal.
12. I could survive on stir-fry.
13. I have done both 11 and 12 a lot within the last year. Food is expensive.
14. I have never had a white Christmas.
15. No matter how many different ways it is cooked, I have found that I am not a fan of fish.
16. I could fall asleep anywhere.
17. I would prefer to live in the middle of nowhere than to be surrounded by people in the city.
18. I am not a fan of snakes, at all.
19. Bugs found in our house get removed using the ‘Rescue and Relocation’ Jar and are set free outside. We are a no-kill facility.
20. I really like dumb, dry, silly jokes.
21. I am really bad at telling the afore-mentioned jokes because sometimes I can’t stop laughing at the punch-line that I know is coming.

22. I really like Korean Dramas. Like a LOT!
23. I can play the piano.
24. Cooking is not one of my strengths. I usually end up eating burned or funny tasting things when I cook. (I seriously need to marry a fella who can handle the cooking.)
