To say that I’ve been blessed is a quite the understatement. I have an amazing family, encouraging friends, and a relationship with the Savior of the world. Not too shabby…
One of my greatest blessings however, has been my mother. I’ve heard that being a mother requires selflessness as you constantly place your children before yourself, but I’ve rarely seen it demonstrated as I do from my own mom. She constantly affirms her children in their insane endeavors (ie THE WORLD RACE), sacrifices her comforts for our benefit, and challenges us to never settle for less. She is a shining example.
I’m so grateful for everything she does for me, even those things I’ve failed to notice. She is my best friend and the older I get, the more I see…
Mother’s truly have a sixth sense and a unique ability to love and understand their children.

So, despite the fact that I’m currently on the other side of the planet, I send a special “I LOVE YOU” to my darling mother. I love you momma and wish I could be there to celebrate with you today. We’ll pig out on watermelon, peeps, and smoothies when I get home. 🙂
