Botswana blogs to come!!! While you wait, here is a video that Shannon made of our month in the bush. Botswana has definitely been one of my favorite locations. We met some AMAZING people (THE WALKER FAMILY), had some entertaining experiences, and were astounded again by the power of the Lord.
You might be in Botswana, if…
1. You learn to start a fire from seemingly dead ashes.
2. You’re disappointed when the village chief comes to visit you and he’s wearing a suit and dress shoes. No beads. No headgear. Sad.
3. 4 year old children speak more languages fluently than you do
4. A donkey, a horse race, and goats with cow bells are a regular part of your day.
5. You see a baboon and confuse it with a wildebeest. (Guilty parties will remain nameless….)
6. If you live in a tent, cook over an open flame, and watch soap operas every night with your ministry contacts via the car battery. Three episodes and BLING was hooked. 🙂
