I have been fundraising for just about a month now. And I am absolutely mind blown by the responses I have received! As of today, I sit at:
** $1,431 out of $16,298 for the trip; or 9% funded!
** $75 out of $4,000 for personal money; or 2% funded!
While fundraising is not always easy and not always a piece of cake, I am truly taken aback in what God can do when following the path He’s laid out for me. When I begin to get frustrated with fundraising, He puts me at ease and peace with lyrics, a bible verse, or another donation (or several) in my account. I know that because He has called me to go, He will provide all of the funds.
While, I still have quite a ways to go in meeting my goal of being fully funded before launch in September, I am truly grateful for each one of you who has donated towards my trip. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
