Confession, I had a little melt down about fundraising. I started to process all that needs to be done for this World Race to commence and it dawned on me heavily that I CANNOT raise $15,500 on my own.
God placed someone in my life who is a straight up baller for Jesus. She is a magnificent reflection of God's beauty and grace. I met her as we served Christ together in Johannesburg, South Africa. Meet Melissa Griffin. 
God has done some radical things through this wonderful person and I felt him telling me to seek some counsel from her. She is completely on fire for God. I gave her a call and within minutes my soul was at ease.
If I am honest I probably could have told you all the things she was going to say, but I was having a "human" moment and needed some reassurence.
She put it like this: God has called me to something supernatural, which means I have to fully rely on HIS supernatural powers. Of course I cannot do the things necessary to make this World Race happen. I have to completely Trust in the Lord. The moment I start doubting his power and might is the moment that I will start to lose the supernatural power ONLY HE can offer.

Thank you for those Wise words Melissa. I know that God has called me to this World Race and I trust that He will make it happen. But even before I was born, GOD CHOSE ME and called me by his marvelous grace. Then it pleased him to reveal his Son to me, so that I would proclaim the Good News about Jesus(Galatioans 1:15-16). That may be the most exciting scripture I have ever read.
God's Love for me continually blows my mind. His unconditional love is the best thing that ever happened to me.
I surrender all to Him. Jesus is the Author of my life, and he will provide the things I need so that he can keep writing my story, period.
