I finally finished my support letter and sent out the first 50!
I planned on holding the stack in my hand and saying a good long prayer to the Lord before I dropped them in the box, but since I was leaving the house at 5:45 am I just dumped them and pressed on. I was feeling guilty about this until I realized that I have been praying for my supporters every day and some ritualistic prayer would not change the way God listens to my heart.
The last two weeks of the semester are always CRAZY. I am getting lots of text messages from my Dad that say "FFS" (focus, finish strong). I would love to just think about the World Race all day and shop for a tent but I have to have some balance in my life I suppose.
I intended to add some photos to the previous blog but I had not yet learned how so I am adding them now…
this is my Family at my Brother Kurt's wedding last may
Me & my cousins at a Fightin' Texas Aggie football game (we just lost to our rivals, thats why Jared looks so unhappy)
A Picture of me and my friend Julie in Kenya, she decided she wanted dreadlocks too. I do not regret them, but I do not miss them.
My Sweet mother whom I fondly refer to as "Midge" and our friend Shadrack in Kenya.
My favorite place in the world, Legacy Lake and Cabin.
Thats all for now,
Peace&Blessins
KC
