Fundraising update:
GOD is beyond faithful. I cannot even imagine that He still wants to use this mess of me. I am broken, yet perfectly sewn.
Just to fill you in on what these numbers mean, here are my crucial deadlines…</a
- $3,500 – Due 6/30/2012 (2 weeks before Training Camp)
- $6,500 – Due 8/18/2012 (2 weeks prior to trip)
- $11,000 – Due 12/1/2012 (End of 3 months on the field)
- $15,500 – Total Due 3/1/2013 (End of 6 months on the field)
I have met the second deadline 2 months in advance. WHAT?!? I even have to re-read that to believe it. Withouth a doubt, I am leaving on the World Race. I am convinced that my Saviour's hand is at work. If I am honest, a real fear of mine is that I will start this race and not finish it (mainly because of the worry that I won't raise all of the necessary funds). A dear friend and fellow racer Stephanie http://stephaniemontes.theworldrace.org spoke so much truth in to my life this week.

Truth Bomb!! GOD is going to see this race through. HE is already doing that through each of YOU. I am forever grateful for the Faith you have in Jesus Christ, and His ability to use me for the Glory of His name and construction of our Heavenly Father's Kingdom!
Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins.
Keep your eyes on Jesus,
who both began and finished this race we're in.
Study how he did it.
Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—
that exhilarating finish in and with God—
he could put up with anything along the way:
Cross, shame, whatever.
And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God.
When you find yourselves flagging in your faith,
go over that story again, item by item,
that long litany of hostility he plowed through.

Adrenaline is pulsing through my soul!! GOD IS who He says He is, the
God who provides!! What a MIGHTY GOD we serve!
