This blog is being posted a little bit late but I havn’t been on the internet… so we are currently in Peru but  a Peru blog is being posted right after 🙂 Love yall

We said goodbye to our host family last night. It was heartbreaking saying goodbye. This month was hard and trying and a lot of
hard work but it was more than worth it and we got so close to our family. I have never seen a family live so closely
and love each other and strangers so well. I didn’t realize that it would be possible to get so close to a family
in such a short amount of time, especially when we don’t speak their language.
I know God is doing amazing things in them and through them. Their church is going to open eyes, soften
hearts and change lives. God is there,
heaven is coming down and He is moving in that community. There is going to be victory in that church
and in that community for the kingdom. I
am so blessed to know them and see them stepping in faith even when they cant
see the end result. Their faith is so
strong, trusting in Gods perfect timing, knowing that he has ordained them and
orchestrated this time for them for a specific purpose and that He is working
and He is good.   I cant wait to come
back and visit and see their church completed and in use. God is so much bigger than we could ever imagine
and the money that they need to raise is pennies to God.

            Two
interesting things I ate before we left: 1) Llama! – We thought it was steak
while we were eating it, super yummy. 2)
Cow Intestine- also known as indigenous chuckle (gum) because you have to chew
on it for so long. I think I could go
the rest of my life without eating that again, good flavor, nasty texture and
when you first bite it something squirts out into your mouth… nasty!

            We went to
some hot springs, that was super relaxing and just a wonderful time to get to
hang out and sit in Gods creation and just marvel at it. We also went and saw a down that is in the
crater of a Volcano. We also went to come Incan ruins. It is amazing what they were able to build so
long ago.

            We are
leaving for Peru tonight on a bus. We
leave at 7pm and will be driving through the night. I plan on getting cozy and passing out for
the ride. We are super excited to see what God has in store for us for
Peru.   We will be staying in Laredo
Peru; which looks like it is on the coast. We will be doing ministry with another team. We are all excited about that and getting to
learn from the strengths of another team. We are not 100% positive what all we will be doing but it said working
with ministries of all ages, doing bible studies, Sunday school classes,
evangelism. I think it is going to be a
lot less construction this month which will be such a nice break for our
bodies, we worked them so hard this past month; though now we will need to
start working out as a team.    We will
be staying with different church members. We are not positive if we will all be staying together or if we will be
split up. We are hoping we will all be
close because having family time and feedback time is so important for us and
just having that community and time to grow and bond as a team. It really is an amazing experience living
with 5 other people in such a small area and literally doing every single thing
together other than showering and pooping. We are learning a lot about each other and learning a lot about
ourselves. God reveals so much through
other people and through those relationships.
