We are just 4 short days away from South Africa. 2 continents down, 3rd here we
come.
could have a slow down remote that would make this time last a little longer. The Holiday season has quickly approached and
wrapped us up in Christmas cheer. We have been enjoying this cold weather and
laid back ministry month, which has provided us with ample opportunity to
snuggle up, drink some hot coco and watch Christmas movies together as we enjoy
each others company and our World Race Family.
and wandered around some fields, through the frost covered ground and amongst
the many different plants. As I was walking,
the cold winds blew and nipped at my nose, turning my cheeks a rosy. I was in awe struck wonder at the many
different plants, flowers, berries, trees, brush that flourished in this
utterly cold environment.
At first glance it appears that everything is the same color
that life has ceased for this winter season.
Upon closer examination I see shapes, colors, CREATIVITY. I see the sun glistening through the plants,
glittery frost shining all around.
While looking at all the different life that surrounds me, I
am reminded how specifically the Lord designed each of these plants for this
very environment. He knew the harsh
trials of winter that would strike them, he knew the days where the hot sun
would shine brightly upon them, he equipped them to be able to withstand the
harsh winter winds and the cold cold rain.
Not only can these plants withstand this harsh environment; they
flourish, they bloom, grow, multiply, thrive.
They were created and designed for such a time as this. God knew exactly what He was doing when he so
perfectly and intricately placed them there and they wouldn’t prosper near as
much in any other environment (even the ones that seem less harsh and more life
friendly to us). They wouldn’t bloom
there because they weren’t created for that environment.
As I look at the beauty of it all I notice the intricacy and
the thought that was put into each one of these, how different and unique each
one is.
HOW MUCH MORE HE LOVES US! How much more He PROVIDES for us!
How perfectly he has ORCHASTRATED our lives.
He has put us exactly where he wants us so that we can grow perfectly
into the image he has designed us to be.
He has EQUIPPED us to withstand all that He has planned for life to
throw at us. He has made us each unique, providing the world with our own
unique color that no one else displays.
thank God for the many blessings that surround you. For the trials that make you stronger, the
times that make you cry, the laughs that bring you to happy tears and the
moments that utterly take your breath away. He has surrounded you with people to perfectly
love you. I am sending you all my
love.
Praying that you feel GOD’S LOVE all around you! That you
feel His loving DADDY arms come and scoop you up and tell you how DEARLY He
loves YOU! YOU are BELOVED! Praying you
fall more and more in Love with Him EVERY single Day!
