Myanmar is technically a closed country to Christianity, so in order to protect our hosts and their work, we have to be extra careful with what we post.
This month my new team (@NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK) and I are living the village life once again, including no electricity in temperatures of a whopping 103 F (heat index around 110 F) and spending time filtering storm water for morning coffee.
Today we learned to boil eggs over a charcoal stove in LESS THAN ONE HOUR!!!! Though the locals can make them in about 15 minutes. But we are learning, people!
