Please Pray for Team Ignitus!
For those of you who have been following our team through our trials and victories, you may have heard about my teammate Denise who had to go to the hospital and was diagnosed with a kidney stone just before we left New Zealand. You can read about how she was healed HERE – We are now safely in Australia and have begun our work with the aboriginal community of Bagot- but we feel like the team is under attack in some ways for the ammount of light & prayer we are bringing to these communities. We are still very strong in spirit, but currently need to reach out for your prayers in regards to a greater protection over our physical health.
God has been doing amazing work through us in the short amount of time that we have been here and now we are experiencing some challenges that are being put in our parth to try to keep us from doing service & ministry. Kate came down with over a 101 degree temperature and Denise’s husband Scott was diagnosed this morning with Scabies. Both of these illnesses were picked up in the community in which we are working and I ask for your prayers in the following areas :
Pray for:
- Healing of Scott’s hands and feet from scabies
- Healing and continued recovery for Kate’s body, particularly her throat
- Protection over Denise from illness, as she has been in closest contact with Scott
- Continued health & rest for AnnieRose, Krissy, & Alisa
- For the team to not be shaken in their purpose for being here and for God to give them the ability to love without reservation
- God to give us eyes for the people and children of Bagot that sees them as Christ see’s them, & to not fear
- For greater faith in the Lord than we have ever known
- For Joyous spirits to spill over to all whom we come in contact with
- For a peacefulness to come over our whole team
With all of this said, I would like to report that our team continues to be in good spirits. God has given us a supernatural ability to love each other and the people around us. We are praying hard and interceeding on behalf of the people of Bagot and anyone whom might come across them- as we love them very much and want light to be brought into the darkness of their community. We declare that God is in control and will continue to bring Kingdom to this community and nation. We love all of our supporters and thank you for your prayers!!! God bless you!
