Our team has safely & successfully landed in New Zealand!- the first of 11 countries on our World Race Tour.

For the 9 months i have been planning, preparing, sacrificing, rejoicing, and worrying about this moment. It is finally here!  After an incredible journey of preparing for this trip , leaving all that is familiar and comfortable is now a REALITY.  The journey of getting to this point was hard, but mainly because I needed to learn to give up things that are for MYSELF – things that I love and cherish , my family, my job, material things, and the security of a consistent environment in which i can control.

Now many of these things are out of my control – and I can already see God moving in amazing ways. For this early in the adventure, I thought i would be in the grieving stage still….. but I have 100% confirmation that I am in the right place, and that I will be used for His purpose in amazing ways. Some might think that possibly it is too early for me to really feel the grief of leaving these things I cherish, and possibly that I am just numb to it all at this point….But let me tell you- I am filled with great Hope and joy like I have never felt before. I am excited to live each day for His purpose and to ultimately serve and benefit others.

We are all getting settled into our first week and are adjusting to the new lifestyle. We will take one week to reunite with our team, our leaders, our coaches, and prepare to meet our local ministry contacts by the end of this week.  I look forward to keeping you up to date on what local ministry my team gets involved in… STAY TUNED!

I send my love and blessings to you all!
