Krissy Whaley
I’m 27 years old and live just east of Seattle, Washington. I am full of energy and love to laugh!  I rarely sit still- you will always find me on the go! I went to Western Washington University for college and studied Outdoor Recreation Management. I spent my summers in New York working with at-risk youth in outdoor education camps and completely fell in love with the complexity, intensity,  and diversity of personalities I was working with.  I assume I will fall in love with the people and communities on our trip, just like I did with my kids in NY- I deffinately have a soft spot for children.  After college I began to work as the Sports & Recreation Coordinator for the YMCA , and for the last three years i have been working as a Project Coordinator at  Microsoft in Redmond, WA.  In addition to my job, I have the utmost pleasure of working with some of the most amazing students in the high school ministry at my church- these young adults amaze me more and more everyday! I love them to pieces…I am truly blessed for all the experiences God has given me. I am so thankful!

FAMILY

I can’t express how much my family means to me.  They are my rock, my love, my trust and understanding – I owe everthing to them. I couldn’t be where I am now without them. I am the younger sister to my brother Jayson, and am the proud daughter of Doug & Cheryl Whaley. They have always been there for me, every step of the way, cheering me on…I thank God for them everyday. And I can’t forget the little person in which I love and adore, my niece Madison – she steals my heart every time I talk to her.
