Last night Toby Mac invaded Baltimore!!!! Talk about my favorite concert EVER… it was AMAZING!!!!!! It felt like one big Jesus freak disco up in there… we were seated in the 200 level so we could see the whole arena, and not a soul could stand still as Toby started doing his thing. Muscles I didn’t know I had are sore today from all the praise dancing we were doing last night. It was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought to myself, this must be a taste of Heaven. So many believers from different walks of life all together jamming and praising as one body for our King.
I have been to many many Christian concerts in my day (Anyone remember Plus One? My family and I went to 12 of their concerts when I was growing up…. yes, we were slightly ridiculous, hardcore fans). I’ve been in the front row before, and have been all the way in the back. This was my third Toby concert, and I have always wanted to be up front for his, but never seem to come closer than the 200-level. I was slightly bummed about this yesterday since one of my good friends had second row seats!!!!!!! But looking back, I wouldnt have traded our 200-level seats for the world. Being against the back wall and up high, we could literally view the entire arena. From corner to corner, we could see the whole crowd in worship to that funky Jesus music. Catching a glimpse of this multitude in complete and utter worship did more for my soul than words can express. It made me so excited for the day when we all finally do get to Heaven.
